While Blur take some time off their enigmatic guitarist puts out a second album of lo-fi recordings from his own private studio. For the most part this is a heady mixture of hardcore punk and poignant, childlike vocals. It may be self-indulgent but it's also oddly endearing, a bit like the man himself. An enjoyable record - but a new Blur album would be far more preferable.
