Errol Brown, the singer with British soul/pop band Hot Chocolate, has died at the age of 71.

The singer's manager has confirmed his death, believed to have occurred after a battle with cancer, at his home in the Bahamas earlier today.

Best known for songs like 'You Sexy Thing', 'Everyone's a Winner' and 'It Started with a Kiss', Brown enjoyed success with Hot Chocolate in the 1970s and 1980s. He received an Ivor Novello Award for Songwriting in 2004 and was made an MBE in 2003.
