Age is just a number for some people, and so it was for two elderly men who managed to escape from a nursing home in Germany and were eventually picked up hours later at a heavy metal festival.

Die Welt reports that the two gentlemen, who haven't yet been named, were found "disoriented and dazed" at 3AM on Friday at the Wacken Open Air 2018, which has such acts performing like Judas Priest, Danzig, Dimmu Borgir and Sepultura and is considered to be the "Mecca of Heavy Metal" and considered to be the world's biggest open-air heavy metal festival.

Per a police statement released to German radio station Norddeutscher Rundfunk, the two elder metalheads "obviously liked the metal festival," but added that the care home quickly organised transport for them and brought them back to the care home - presumably with sore necks from all the headbanging.

Just to give you a taste of what they most likely took in, here's Sepultura with their cover of Black Sabbath's 'Symptom Of The Universe'.
