Rod Stewart will play an outdoor show at Kilkenny's Nowlan Park next June.

The 70-year-old Scotsman follows in the footsteps of Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen, who have both played the stadium in the past, and will play the venue on June 25th, 2016 as part of his 'HITS 2016' tour.

He releases his new album 'Another Country' at the end of this month, but you can expect the big tunes like 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy', 'Maggie May', 'Sailing' and more when he plays the Marble City.

Tickets are on sale from usual outlets this Thursday at 9am.
