American crime drama following a team of Las Vegas forensic investigators. Originally, the CSI team comprised night-shift assistant supervisor Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger), night-shift supervisor Dr Gilbert Grissom (William Petersen), team members Nick Stokes (George Eads), Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox), and Warrick Brown (Gary Dourdan) and detective Capt Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle). Petersen left the show in season nine and Marg Helgenberger departed during season 12. Laurence Fishburne replaced Petersen and played Dr Ray Langston for three seasons. In season 12, former "Cheers" star Ted Danson replaced Helgenberger as night-shift team supervisor DB Russell.
