Non-Game of Thrones folk will see that headline and be even more convinced that fans of the show are in fact, complete geeks, but we all know differently, don't we? We all know that knowing how to speak even just a few words of Dothraki is like, the coolest thing evvvverr, and yeah okay, maybe we have geek tendencies.

Either way, there is a brand, spanking new app released that can help common folk like you and me talk like Daenerys and her gang. The language was created by linguist David J. Peterson for the TV show which he constructed from the phrases used by George RR Martin in the book. It's structure follows a subject-verb-object order and uses four vowels.

The app teaches you the basics of the Dothraki pronunciation, vocab, grammar and dialogue, with useful phrases like 'Hash yer dothrae chek?' (How are you?) 'Athchomar chomakaan!' (Hello!) and even 'Anha zhilak yera' (I love you). N'aww.

The Dothraki Companion app will arm you with enough vocabulary and grammar to have a complete conversation in Dothraki,” according to the App Store listing. The app is available for iOS devices and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod, although unfortunately it does come with a price as it's €3.59 to download. But just think how much you would impress your Klingon speaking friends?

Or do Klingon speakers have friends... hmm.
