Considering the final scene of Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life left it wide open for another season, it should come as no surprise that creator Amy Sherman-Palladino has another season up her sleeve.

In an interview with RadioTimes.com, Sherman-Palladino confirmed that she and her husband / writing partner Daniel Palladino "carved out a little niche for ourselves with Amazon saying that if we ever want to do it, if the girls and us get together and we have a concept that works, then we have the freedom to do it."

It's early days yet, of course, and Amazon are set to release her latest series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, in the meantime so it'll likely be some time before anything close to an announcement happens. Sherman-Palladino went on, saying that another Gilmore Girls season will happen with "the right circumstances, and that we’re all sort of in the same drunken mood together to go repaint Stars Hollow again. Because we had to repaint Stars Hollow, and we’ll have to repaint it again. But it’s definitely possible."

After all, that cliffhanger is too much of a cliffhanger to leave behind. You just can't leave it on that, like. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is on Amazon from November 29th.
