Judging by all the reports filtering stateside, those of you who choose to watch Bertney, Simon et al on the new season of X Factor USA will be subjected to a litany of mid-judicial abscondings. Which aren't at all orchestrated by producers. Britney kicked it all off a few weeks back, and now she's blaming Demi Lovato for her latest wander.

The 30-year-old singer walked away from her seat again show this week (10.07.12) when a drag queen attempted to sing her 1999 hit 'You Drive Me (Crazeeee)'. However the star says that 19-year-old Demi was her reasoning behind leaving only Simon Cowell to watch the rest of the audition, saying: "I was following her. I was taking her lead. She was like, 'Let's go,' and I was like, 'Okay.' It was our break anyway. It was dinner time."  Bertney's all 'bout the routine now that fiancé Jason has taken over her feeding regime.

Demi explained to a Fox network affiliate: "I felt really uncomfortable, and I had to walk away. He [thought] that [he did] such a good job, and I felt so bad. I laughed at first, but I felt really bad."

56-year-old L.A. Reid also fled his seat and went to the backstage area during the recording. His reasons were as follows: "Oh, my God, it was just horrible. He thought he was going through. He thought that the cheers were because he was doing such a great job, when the truth is he was horrific. We just couldn't take it anymore."

As previously stated, Simon did endure the performance, but then he reminded everyone who the real diva is by delaying filming so he could enjoy his brekkie.

In related news, we still have no idea who's going to present this year's show after the card-board cut-out of Steve Jones got ushered off set. Hence unfortunate rumours such as this.

Somewhere, Dermot O'Leary is doing a jig.
