It will be 'Friends' meets 'Will & Grace' on the next season of the revived sitcom as David Schwimmer has landed a recurring role.

NBC announced on Wednesday that the former 'Friends star' would be joining the cast to play Grace’s new love interest. That's all they're telling us for now but Deadline has reported that Schwimmer is set to appear in roughly five episodes. He joins previously announced season ten guest stars Alec Baldwin, Mary McCormack and Chelsea Handler.

Schwimmer was recently seen in FX's 'The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story' as Robert Kardashian, a role which earned him an Emmy nomination. He also starred in AMC's restaurant drama 'Feed the Beast' while he has also reunited with 'Friends' co-stars Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc in their respective Showtime series 'Web Therapy' and 'Episodes'.

Season 10 of 'Will & Grace' kicks off Thursday, Oct. 4th on NBC and hopefully not too much longer after on these shores.
