Back in the day, there was nothing quite like a decent Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders sketch to get you laughing until your sides hurt. Now, we're lucky to spy the pair on the telly together at all, and Jennifer says it's because the BBC can't afford to put their show together any more.
As per The Mirror, the duo won't be back on our TV screens in the near future, because the BBC don't have the money to make the show they want: "When we first made the show there was a good budget. You could afford to make it look how you wanted it to look and you could do what you wanted", she explained.
Jennifer also revealed in a recent TV interview that her Absolutely Fabulous co-star Joanna Lumley wants her to write a film based on the hit series. She didn't seem too keen on the idea herself though: "She keeps going on about it. Why doesn’t she write it? I think she is trying to get more work out of me. I just feel we’re all too old."
Ah now Jennifer, we don't know about that. We wouldn't say no to another one of those Corrs sketches now...
And we can't forget this excellent ABBA one either.
