The writer-director returns to television in new series Crisis In Six Scenes. The show stars Allen himself (of course) as well as Miley Cyrus and Elaine May (Small Time Crooks).
The comedy, which will air on Amazon Prime at the end of September, has six episodes and is set in the US during the historically turbulent 1960s. It follows a middle class family who live in the suburbs and are ‘visited by a guest who turns their household completely upside down.’
Sounds like it’s right up his alley.
