The Simpsons have made one last tribute to the inimitable Edna Krabappel, played by the late Marcia Wallace. Last night's episode (March 9) on Fox featured a touching epilogue of Krabappel and Ned Flanders, seeing the pair dancing together in a dream like sequence that even included the teacher's signature laugh.

This isn't the first tribute the show have made for her, with previous episodes paying tribute to Wallace in the opening credits, including Bart's famous chalkboard message. Marcia Wallace voiced the Springfield school teacher since 1990 on the show, but sadly passed away last October after a thirty year battle with breast cancer at the age of 70.
