Hell for everyone in the show, heaven for us watching because season two looks like it's going to be raise the stakes considerably.

Last time we visited Westworld, and spoilers below for those who haven't watched, Dolores had started a rebellion by putting a bullet through her creator's head and turning on the people who owned the park with her own robot army and as we start season two, it looks like the human army, or park security forces to be more accurate, is arriving to try and clean up the mess.

Somehow, we don't think it's going to just be a case of turning them all off and back on again.

Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright and James Marsden are all returning for the second season but the most exciting glimpse from the trailer is of the feudal Japan theme park, ShogunWorld, which was teased in the first season’s finale and includes a shot of Oscar nominee Rinko Kikuchi who joins the cast as a geisha host who it looks like is on her way to an enlightening courtesy of the robot rebellion.

And if you're wondering what the song underneath it all is, it's Nirvana's 'Heart-Shaped Box', which you can listen to right here.

'Westworld' season two premieres on Sky Atlantic on April 23rd.
