The Daily Show with Jon Stewart aired for the final time last night and to say it was an emotional affair for Stewart would be a massive understatement.
Many comedians (Steve Carell, Kristen Schaal, Lewis Black, etc.) owe their success to starting out on The Daily Show and all made appearances on the finale last night, but none of them owe more to Stewart than Stephen Colbert, who joined Stewart for the last time and gave an emotional impromptu speech celebrating and thanking the departing host that moved him to tears.
If this doesn't get you all verklempt, you're probably dead inside.
