Comedy on television has never featured such a diverse range of stars, no longer is it just the sitcom heads all relying on canned laughter for the entertainment value, but a whole host of talented actors bringing their own brand of comedy to the table.

The Hollywood Reporter caught up with some of this year's male Emmy contenders for one of their famous Roundtables which included Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Andy Samberg, Episodes' Matt LeBlanc, Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Shameless' William H. Macy, Orange Is the New Black's Jason Biggs, and Veep's Tony Hale.

The actors opened up about their fears of typecasting, some audition nightmares and why it's actually okay not to work for years at a time. As you'd expect with comedy stars though, things get pretty silly at times, and the lads address the 'complicated business of being funny in 2014'.

If you are a fan of any of the shows these guys are in, or the actors themselves, this video is well worth a watch as it is just crazy surreal to see all these stars sitting around the one table together out of character.

Although, yeah.. it is a pretty long watch!
