Saoirse Ronan is leaning hard on the Irish angle ahead of her hosting gig on 'Saturday Night Live' this weekend, and sure why shouldn't she?

It might be December this Saturday night but it may as well be Paddy's Day once SNL starts rolling as Saoirse Ronan hosts for the first time alongside musical guests U2.

Ronan stopped by 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' last night to talk all things SNL and 'Lady Bird', her latest film that's just become the most certified fresh of all time on Rotten Tomatoes, and things got very Irish from the outset.

We're not sure we did quite as much praying in school as she did, but she's not wrong about the instant familiarity though, we have to hand that to her.

She'd make you very proud all the same, wouldn't she?
