The writer and director appeared on Seth Myers to promote his upcoming movie Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri which is generating Oscar buzz.
Known for the dark humour and violent themes in his writing (think In Bruges and Seven Psychopaths) McDonagh’s next project is a play about the Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. And it sounds….very Martin McDonagh.
It involves a woman, trapped in a box, in his attic, writing his stories. So, yeah. We’ll let him explain:
