We wailed when he left Summer Bay earlier this year, but Home and Away's Luke Mitchell is already preparing to return to TV screens stateside in brand new SciFi drama The Tomorrow People.
A reboot of the classic UK cult TV series, the show tells the tale of Stephen Jameson (Robbie Amell, real-life cousin of yer man from Arrow), a young fella who is shocked to discover that he's got some rather extraordinary abilities. He teams up with a bunch of 'homo superior' youths, lead by a lad called John (Mitchell) and together they prepare to do battle with the sinister Jedikiah (Mark Pellegrino).
It's all very X-Men, but it does seem rather intriguing. And sure anything with Luke Mitchell in it is fine by us.
The Tomorrow People launches in the US later this year, with a European air date yet to be finalised.
