If you thought Simon Cowell was one for controversial critique of talent show contestants just wait until you hear what Holland's Got Talent judge Cornelis Willem Heuckeroth (nickname Gordon) has to say to Chinese opera singer Xiao Wang.

The young lad appeared on the show's 6th season this week and the clip of his audition has been doing the rounds on the internet ever since. Have a peek there below and you'll understand why.

For those of you who aren't in a position to watch the vid-yoh, we'll do our best to summarise the goings on for you here. Dutch actress Chantal Janzen was the first judge to cause ructions by saying "that's OK?" when Xiao gave his name.

Now, she could be forgiven for that, right? You'd think so, if it weren't for the follow up from the fella sitting beside her on the panel. The gang asked Xiao what he'd be doing and when he revealed his intention to perform a Verdi aria Cornelius chimed in with the following: "Which number are you singing? Number 39 with rice?" Charming, especially since nobody seemed bothered to challenge him on it either.

And as if that was't enough, the talent show judge rounded off Xiao's performance with an announcement that it had been "the best Chinese I’ve had in weeks". His supplies/surprise jibe didn't go unnoticed either.

We'll take Cowell's cattiness over that tripe any day. Not cool lads, not cool.
