The Wachowskis are stepping into the world of television these days with a new show for Netflix called 'Sense8', which looks like it will mess with our minds almost as much as The Matrix did.
Movie writing bro and sis duo Lana and Andrew Wachowski have previously brought the world The Matrix series, V for Vendetta, Cloud Atlas and most recently Jupiter Ascending.
This new series for Netflix sees them combining talents with J. Michael Straczynski (Clint Eastwood’s Changeling, World War Z), as well as Grant Hill (The Matrix trilogy, Cloud Atlas).
It follows the story of eight people from around the world whose lives become suddenly and inexplicably connected, in that they all can sort of become each other whenever they want, because they are the same person... but not really. See? We told you this was going to mess with your mind, Matrix style.
It also stars your man from Lost too (Naveen Andrews) along with Brian J. Smith, Tuppence Middleton, Jamie Clayton, Miguel Angel Silvestre, Tina Desai, Doona Bae, Aml Ameen and Max Riemelt.
All twelve episodes of the dramatic thriller will launch on Friday, June 5th only on Netflix in all Netflix territories around the world. The series will also be available in 4K.
