David Letterman's final show was a pretty momentous occasion, and over the years there's no doubt that he has influenced the other hosts who work on rival late night chat shows.
Given that it was his last night on air, fellow host Conan O'Brien decided to make a fantastic gesture that probably won't go down too well with those in charge at his network, as he encouraged his viewers to change channels and switch over to watch Dave in action one last time.
