A brand new Netflix original series is on its way based on the famous Marvel comic book superhero Daredevil, the last incarnation of which you will have seen in the Ben Affleck movie of the same name back in 2003, but the less said about that the better.

For those that aren't a comic book fan, this particular superhero's back story involves a guy called Matt Murdock getting accidentally blinded as a child but then essentially trained into a mini Chuck Norris by his dad. Oh and his other senses are also heightened incredibly due to the fact that it was a radioactive substance he was blinded by.

So far, so superhero.

As an adult, Murdock (Boardwalk Empire's Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the Super Hero “Daredevil” in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City.

Also lining out the cast is Vincent D’Onofrio, Rosario Dawson and Deborah Ann Woll.

Worth noting too is that due to the fact that the show is on Netflix, it really doesn't have the same constraints when it comes to violence and adult content, making for some rather kick-ass fight scenes that would in fact put Chuck Norris to shame.

After recently being lucky enough to get a sneak preview of this show, we can guarantee you won't want to miss it, whether you are a comic fan or a not.
