So the first full trailer for HBO's made for telly Phil Spector biopic has finally arrived. Al Pacino stars as the music producer who was convicted of second-degree murder following the death of actress Lena Clarkson in 2003.
The Queen herself, Ms Helen Mirren stars as defence attorney Lina Kenney Baden who represented Spector during his first trial. Kenney Baden was famously determined to defend the music mogul at any cost and judging by the trailer, Ms Mirren's got the guts to take on the role.
It's lucky she's such a good actress, because we certainly couldn't keep a straight face in front of Al in an afro. David Mamet wrote and directed the biopic, which centers on the relationship between Spector and Baden. HBO will air the movie on March 24th.
