entertainment.ie's Instagram followers had quite the task pitched to them recently - what is the best TV series they've watched during lockdown?
We are all watching TV and on demand more than ever before, so we here at entertainment.ie wanted to find out what was the ultimate lockdown TV series our followers have seen.
Over the course of four weeks, we pitched 54 TV and On Demand shows against one other and asked entertainment.ie’s Instagram followers to vote for their favourite.
There was a mixture of TV shows released during lockdown including 'Bridgerton' and 'The Crown', as well as older or ongoing series like 'The Great British Bake Off', 'Schitt’s Creek', and 'RuPaul's Drag Race' which people were re-watching or watching for the first time.
Over the weeks, hundreds of votes were cast and our followers crowned their ultimate TV series as... *drumroll please*... 'The Graham Norton Show'!
The popular BBC chat show fought off stiff competition towards the of the voting, from 'Game of Thrones', 'Normal People', 'Brooklyn Nine Nine' and Netflix’s 'You'.
As 'The Graham Norton Show' has kept us regularly entertained on Friday nights, even during a pandemic, we think it’s a very worthy winner.
