Stone the flamin crows, is it just us or are all the familiar faces fleeing Summer Bay these days? We've already lost Romeo and Liam this year, heard that Brax is taking a break to go make it big in Hollywood, and now if reports are to believed, we're saying sayonara to another pair of familiar faces just as Sally Fletcher makes her return.
If you don't want to know what happens, you might want to look away now.
Dexter and April are the next hot young things high-tailing it to 'the City' or whatever, as Charles Cottier and Rhiannon Fish make a break for it, apparently. Terri Haddy, who played flash in the pan Rosie, revealed all when talking to TV Guide about her own exit. "I think because they have both been on the show for so long, they wanted to start a brand new chapter." she said. "I want it to be a really positive ending for April and Dex, and an open-ended one."
Neither Chales nor Rhiannon have confirmed the news themselves, but we do know that Robert Mammone (who plays Dex's dad Sid) will be leaving later this year, and rumour has it he asks Dex, April and Sasha to go with him. Seems as though the pair will say yes, while Sasha will find the decision a bit tougher to make.
And as for Ms Sally Fletcher, we're hearing that the big secret she's hiding upon her return is rather sad. Oooh, angsty.
