HBO can usually be relied on to produce a great show and this next comedy offering looks very promising. It hails from 'Girls' showrunners Lena Dunham and producing partner Jenni Konner and is their take on the British series of the same name, while it stars Jennifer Garner and David Tennant.

Garner plays Kathryn, the obsessively organized and agressively controlling wife to David Tennant's Walt. A meticulously planned outdoor trip to celebrate Walt’s 45th birthday is derailed by uninvited guests and forces of nature, turning the weekend into a test of marriage and friendships.

The series marks Garner's first TV role since Alias while the cast also includes Juliette Lewis, Janicza Bravo, Arturo Del Puerto, Brett Gelman and Ione Skye.

The eight-episode limited series is set to premiere on HBO on Oct. 14th and hopefully not too much longer after that on Sky Atlantic over here.
