Some of you may have read and enjoyed our list of Top 10 Cartoon from 1980's, which got us thinking even more about our favourite childhood cartoons. Sure enough, we sat down and did another one. Here's our ten favourite cartoons from the 1990's...

10. BIKER MICE FROM MARS

This is basically Sons of Anarchy. Except they were mice. That looked like aliens. Who were bikers. We used to stick flattened plastic bottles into our bike to make it seem like we had a motorcycle.

9. EARTHWORM JIM

Did you know Earthworm Jim was voiced by the guy who voiced Homer Simpson. Who had the videogame on the Mega-Drive / SNES? We did. It was so cool.

8. POWERPUFF GIRLS

Sugar. Spice. And everything nice. Also, Mojo-Jojo was one of the best cartoon villains ever. CURSES.

7. DEXTER'S LABORATORY

Who didn't want Dexter's room? It's probably why we took Science in secondary school, only to drop it after a week.

6. CAPTAIN PLANET AND THE PLANETEERS

The Planeteer who had the Heart Ring totally got ripped off. Everyone else had really cool powers, like being able to burn holes in the ground and stuff - and what does he have? HEART. What a load of bullsh*t. We'd leave if we got Heart.

5. JAMES BOND Jr.

It had one season, but it was so good. Who didn't know the lyrics to the intro? Nobody, that's who.

4. X-MEN

For a lot of people, this was the first introduction to comic-book characters. Who was your favourite X-Men? Ours was Cyclops. We wanted his visor-thingy.

3. JOHNNY BRAVO

If you know somebody who spends way too much time in the gym and really doesn't know when to quit when it comes to women, they probably took their lead from Johnny Bravo.  HOO-HAH-HUH. Be brutal, Momma.

2. ANIMANIACS / PINKY & THE BRAIN

We're breaking our own rules here by putting these two together, but it's only because we love them both so much. Are you pondering what I'm pondering? I think so, Brain, but where are we gonna find rubber pants our size?

1. BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES

When this came on, you parked yourself in front of the TV and everything went quiet. And then... BOOOM. Easily the best cartoon series ever produced in the 1990's.
