She made a name for herself as a singer and dancer in the 'Love Island' villa over the summer and now, Antigoni Buxton is in talks to participate in next year's Eurovision Song Contest. Mad.

Antigoni entered the villa as a bombshell over the latest season of the summer 'Love Island' and instantly clicked with the villa OGs. As a singing, Greek Goddess pop star, it's such a shame she never made it to the Talent Show episode of the show.

But the songstress may be headed for bigger and better things than the 'Love Island' talent show, having discussed her potential stint in the Eurovision Song Contest next year in Liverpool with MailOnline.

She shared that she submitted three songs, but she has a favourite that she describes as "up-tempo" as well as "fiery" and "romantic". The track also features two languages; English and Greek.

Describing the song, she makes the track out to be very unique, "Combining modern sounds and Hip-hop production with Greek traditional sounds and melodies is my style".

She continues, "I'm so proud of my Greek roots and my goal as a musician is to share Greek sounds and culture with the world", and describes the opportunity to represent her country as "an honour".

Well, our fingers are crossed for this 'Love Island' gal and we're certain her song is an absolute bop. Let's hope she can make 'Island' and Eurovision history, right?

Stay tuned for updates.
