There's nothing worse than super-rich people with major trust issues, amiright?
The multiple Emmy Award-winning series returns later this month with a fresh batch of snobs who are hiding out in Sicily. The first official trailer for 'The White Lotus' season two dropped overnight, and you can check it out below.
The second season of the social satire from HBO is set at an exclusive Sicilian resort, an off-shoot of the Hawaiian escape from season one, and follows the painfully wicked and wild exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week. Landing just in time for Halloween, which of the characters is going to meet their end by day seven?
Jennifer Coolidge's Tanya McQuoid and her (now) husband Greg Hunt (played by John Gries) are the only two returning characters from season one. From the trailer, we can gather that Tanya is getting suspicious about Greg, second-guessing on whether he's being faithful to her while on holiday.
They'll be joined this time around by characters played by Aubrey Plaza, Theo James, F. Murray Abraham, Adam DiMarco, Beatrice Grannò, Will Sharpe, Tom Hollander and Meghann Fahey. Sabrina Impacciatore also joins the cast as Valentina, the manager in charge of the White Lotus resort in Taormina.
The series is created, written, and directed by Mike White, whose first series bagged 10 Emmys earlier this year, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series and Outstanding Casting for a Limited or Anthology Series.
Check out the trailer for the seven-part season two of 'The White Lotus', which begins on Sky Atlantic and NOW on October 31.
