Although it doesn't yet have a title and it very likely won't be nearly as well received as its progenitor, there's a new spin-off of 'The Walking Dead' on the way.
The new series, which will launch in Spring 2020, sees a group of teenagers who live seemingly inside a walled-off compound in relative comfort set off outside to see the world. The world, of course, is basically dead and zombies are still ever-present.
If the trailer's anything to go by, it looks like it's heavily leaning into the appeal of The CW shows like 'Riverdale' and 'The 100' by bringing in a young cast. Oddly, however, no title has been announced for the show, but going by the trailer, don't be in the least bit surprised if it ends up being called 'The Endlings', which isn't the worst title we've heard.
'The Walking Dead', meanwhile, was renewed for another season because not unlike the zombies of the show itself, it simply won't lie down and die. Not only that, series regular Lauren Cohan was announced as returning for the new season, reprising her role as Maggie Rhee.
By the time 'The Walking Dead' ends, the world itself will probably end - what with climate change and all that. Here's the trailer for the untitled spin-off of 'The Walking Dead'.
