There will be no change to The Voice UK coaching line up, meaning Jessie J, Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue and wee will.i.am will all return - because, according to Robbie Williams, none of them have careers.

Speaking via a BBC mouthpiece, each of the coaches had something to say on the matter - with Danny O'Donoghue not knowing when to shurrup.

will.i.am said: "This season is gonna be doper than last year!"

Tom Jones offered this: "I'm really looking forward to seeing and working with Jessie, Will and Danny on the second series of The Voice. I've heard there will be some important changes that will make what is already a good, strong show even better."

Jessie J kept things simple with: "I'm so happy to be back as one of the original four for series two. It's going to be even bigger and better this time and I can't wait. Bring it on."

And then we had Danny: "I can't wait to start the search again for the hottest vocal talent in the UK. I had an amazing experience last time and from what I believe, this year's gonna be bigger and better, already the level of singers auditioning has gone through the roof and I can't wait for the rest of the UK to hear and enjoy all the undiscovered artists there are out there. Tom, Will, and Jessie... Bring it on guys!!"

Bring on the format changes more like. Speaking of the flagging viewing numbers season 1 experienced after the chair spinning stopped, BBC entertainment controller Mark Linsey said: "We will be doing less live shows… Those live shows, the audience became over familiar with the grammar. It still works on Strictly and X Factor, but audiences became over familiar with it… It's not rocket science to say that the Blind Auditions were the best bit of the series."

So will there be format changes? "Yes... We'll let you know soon. I don't want to give it all away. It will be fine."

"Fine." That's the Beeb reaching for the stars right there.
