We've known for a while that The Voice of Ireland was due back in the New Year, but RTE have given an official air date for the talent show. I know, can you even CONTAIN yourself? *Tumbleweed*

Ah no, we won't be too harsh on it, it provides a nice bit of entertainment of a Sunday evening, and your man who won last year, Brendan McCahey, was pretty damn good.

The show will return for its fourth season on Sunday 4th 2015, with new judges Una Foden and Rachel Stevens joining Kian Egan and Bressie on the panel. Both pop stars have toured the world as part of chart topping bands The Saturdays and S Club 7.

Contestants will initially audition in the Blind stages, Battle against each other in the Battle Stages and finally take to the live stage in Dublin’s Helix for a chance to win a recording contract with Universal.

Here's how it will all pan out date wise...

7 Blind auditions Sunday 4th January – 15th February 2104

4 Battle auditions Sunday 22nd February – 15th March

6 Live shows Sunday 22nd March – 26th April
