After a rather shambolic IFTA ceremony last year, the awards have decided to now divide themselves up into two ceremonies, with the Film IFTA's taking place on the 24th May while the TV IFTA's will take place on the 17th October.

You can find the film nominations here, but below you can find all the nominations for Irish TV and its stars in what's been a pretty decent year for it by all accounts.

The likes of Love/Hate, The Fall, Charlie and Game of Thrones all feature alongside Vikings, The Guarantee and Peaky Blinders. While newcomer Caitriona Balfe has been shortlisted for her role in US show Outlander and Maria Doyle Kennedy’s performance in Corp+Anam has ensured her nomination alongside Love/Hate’s Charlie Murphy and Michelle Beamish for An Bronntanas.

John Connors is deservedly shortlisted for his role in Love/Hate in the supporting Actor Television category along with Liam Cunningham for Game of Thrones, while Stephen Rea is also nominated for his performance in The Honourable Woman

Next week the IFTA Academy will officially announce the ceremony host and the Lifetime Achievement Recipient for 2015 along with partners and sponsors and the Irish Film Board Rising Star Nominees.

TV3 is the current media partner although they won't be showing the entire award ceremonies rather a one hour IFTA Awards Special with all the highlights and interviews with nominees and winners. Probably best...
