One of most well-known TV characters of all time - Happy Days' The Fonz - is set to come back to our TV screens for his own show! Don't worry though, he won't be playing the original cool dude - once Fonz jumped over that shark - his time was done. However, the actor Henry Winkler will be playing himself, in a new comedy sitcom set to be called 'The Winklers'.

It will be penned by Everybody Loves Raymond creator Phil Rosenthal in what will be a half-hour comedy show, also featuring his son-in-law Rob Reinis. Executive producers will include Reinis, as well as Henry's other son Max, and New Girl's Jake Johnson.

According to Deadline: "It centers on an emotionally reserved construction worker who learns about love, life and hugs while unexpectedly living with his in-laws - Henry (Henry Winkler) and Stacey Winkler. (In real life, Henry Winkler has been married to his wife Stacey for more than 35 years.)"

ABC has just given the go ahead for the pilot, so we will be waiting a while yet. Until then, you can watch the infamous moment when Fonz jumped the shark on Happy Days below. It spawned the pop culture expression 'jumped the shark' to indicate when a TV show has just gotten too ridiculous to keep going. See the madness below for yourself...
