Although it was something of a cult hit, 'The End of the F***ing World' is on its way back to screens for a second season this November.
Per a press release from Channel 4, the second season will pick up two years after the events of the first season finale, however the fate of James - played by Alex Lawther - remains uncertain. More pointedly, he's not featured in any of the promotional images released so far either.

Like the previous season, 'The End of the F***ing World' will premiere on Channel 4 with the entire season then going straight to All 4, and will then eventually end up on Netflix UK and Ireland a while after that.
As for newcomers to the second season, 'The Rise of Skywalker' castmember Naomi Ackie is set to join the cast of the show, although details on her character are mysterious at best. It's not even confirmed if Alex Lawther is set to return, either.
The series is based on the graphic novels by Charles Forsman, and was the basis for the first season. No specific air date was given for the second season in November, but odds are there'll be a teaser or trailer in the coming weeks with it.
