Is the end in sight for Downton Abbey? What are we to do without our yearly dose of English aristocracy drama?!

The show's creator Julian Fellowes has said that series five could be the last and that the show 'will not go on forever'. (It WON'T?!) He told the Wall Street journal that once he begins his new show in the US, The Gilded Age, he won't have time for both.

Although he hasn't written it yet, he described his new show as "... about the old aristocracy, the Winthrops and the Stuyvesants and the new money of oil and gas and shipping in the 1870s. It will all be fiction – it won't be real people – but when those families descended on New York, they took over."

Yeah yeah yeah more Downton we say!
