Tanya Roberts, best known for playing Midge Pinciotti, Donna's mother in 'That '70s Show', has died at the age of 65.
Roberts - born Victoria Leigh Blum - originally began her career as a model in the late '70s and early '80s, before she was cast in 'A View To A Kill', alongside Roger Moore, Christopher Walken, and Grace Jones. Prior to this, Roberts starred in cult movies such as 'Sheena', 'The Beastmaster', and TV shows such as 'Charlie's Angels' and 'The Love Boat'.
Most people knew Roberts from 'That '70s Show', where she played Midge Pinciotti, Donna's glamourous mother. Roberts left the show in 2001 when her husband, screenwriter Barry Roberts, became terminally ill.
Roberts' death was announced prematurely by her representative, Mike Pingel.
The actress collapsed on Christmas eve after walking her dog, and was placed on a ventilator. Her long-time boyfriend Lance O'Brien thought she had died last Sunday but was then informed that Tanya was actually alive via a phone call from the ICU.
Sadly, she passed away on Monday night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in L.A. She was 65 years old.
