Holidays are comin' - no matter how summery it feels right now.

According to reports, this year's Coca-Cola Christmas advert campaign on our screens has been gifted with the expert view of one Taika Waititi.

The New Zealand director, who we know for bringing us 'Jojo Rabbit', 'Thor: Ragnarok' and the upcoming 'Thor: Love and Thunder', has been involved in the TV advert, which is due to premiere later this year. The Academy Award-winning writer and director is part of Hungry Man Productions, who worked on the new ad campaign with Wieden & Kennedy.

The campaign is believed to follow the cute story revolving around a helpless father, who forgets to delivery his daughter's Santa letter. This leads him to embark on a journey to the North Pole, where he is greeted by Santa Clause driving the iconic Coca-Cola truck, who gives him a lift home just in time to spend Christmas with his daughter. Magical.

October is said to be when the new Coca-Cola Christmas advert will be hitting TV screens, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled should you be wanting to get in the festive spirit a little bit earlier this year.

Apart from helping to produce magical Christmas adverts, Taika Waititi has been keeping extremely busy in recent times. The director was announced to be bringing two Roald Dahl books to life for Netflix in the future, while also working on 'Star Wars' and the fourth 'Thor' adventure.
