Last night's episode of 'Strictly Come Dancing' looked at the best of the finals, with the show paying tribute to the passing of former Glitterball champion Caroline Flack, who died earlier this year after taking her own life.

Hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, as well as judges and fellow contestants, talked about Flack's time on the show, noting that Flack was the first contestant to score a perfect 40 throughout the final. Pro dancer Janette Manara described Flack as "probably one of the best, best dancers we have ever had come into (the show)," and how Flack's talent and commitment saw her through to the final.

"She was very, very into it, you could just feel that she was lost in that moment, she just wanted to dance her heart out and dance what she was feeling and dance with her everything and I think as a dancer and a performer, you can't ask for more," said Manara.

Flack's dance partner, Pasha Kovalev, described how Flack "transformed into that beautiful dancer with her big heart on her sleeve."

'Strictly Come Dancing' returns for its new season next weekend on BBC One. In the meantime, here's Caroline Flack's showdance from 2014.
