It was announced back in June that classic eighties cartoon Danger Mouse would be returning to our screens soon in a revamped version with a whole new cast voicing the characters.

In September it was announced that Alexander Armstrong will voice the lead character in the CBBC revival, and now it looks like the legendary Stephen Fry will be joining him as the voice of Colonel K.

As well as his good self, it's also just been announced that TV presenter Richard Osman will be joining the cast as mastermind Professor Strontium Jellyfishowitz. Osman said; "As a lifelong fan of the show and a slightly more recent fan of Alexander Armstrong I could not be more delighted to be playing my own small part in this incredible new version of Danger Mouse."

While other confirmed cast members include Come Dine With Me's Dave Lamb and comedian Kevin Eldon, as well as Ed Gaughan who will play FaceJacker's Kayvan Novak.

The cartoon will be shown on CBBC early next year and if it even proves half as popular as the original did, it should be a hit.
