It's not another dating show. And it's not a reality show. No - ohmygohd, omygohd, OHMYGOOOHD - it's a "a semi-fictionalised sitcom in the vein of shows such as Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Grandma's House." No pressure, Stacey. Sure yourself, Larry David and Simon Amstel have oodles in common.

Digital Spy, by way of The Sun, reports that "Phil Cornwell and Ronni Ancona will play Solomon's father and mother on the show (expect lots of Solomon inspired impersonations from the latter), which is being written by Rob Colley (Strictly Come Dancing, The Graham Norton Show - both of which are heavily scripted - who knew?!) and Dan Gaster (Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You). The test footage is reportedly being filmed this week with Princess Productions."

An ever handy Sun source elaborated: "There's a lot of excitement about this project. It's not just another reality TV show, there's a brilliant production team behind it. There's strong interest from ITV." Of course there is.
