Coronation Street: Guilt seemed to be the theme of choice in Corrie this week, what with Eileen being caught rapid trying to guilt Paul's boss into making him stay home, and Karl, y'know, being guilty of murder and that. As for Dev, he's guilty of some awful acting, but sure that's nothing new for him, wha? Ken was guilty of forgetting his own wedding anniversary. and paid rather heavily for it when Rob charmed his wife at their anniversary dinner. The more we see himself and Tracey together, the more we're hoping for a car crash wedding... The factory girls felt guilty for the way they treated Fiz, so they rallied round the redhead with a bottle of bubbly and convinced her to come back to work, while Faye didn't exactly feel guilty about acting like a spoiled brat.

Emmerdale: Ah Brenda, would you ever stop being so stubborn? We've seen enough ruined weddings to last us a lifetime this week, so the last thing we needed was for herself to go and mess up Gennie and Nikhil's nuptials. Speaking of broken hearts, poor Belle was left distraught when Thomas flew the coop, and his uncle Jimmy didn't feel that much better about it either. She had more important things on her mind though, what with her mammy refusing to speak to her and all. Elsewhere, Kerry proved she had some exemplary babysitting skills by nipping out for a ciggie while the kids slept. Thankfully, young Amy was on hand to get the truth out of her, and give her what for to boot. And David look on longingly as Alicia started to warm to Dom. Why do we have a feeling there's another failed wedding on the cards?

EastEnders: Another day on Albert Square, another ruined wedding. Jack probably dodged a bullet in fairness, considering his missus is basically in love with Mr Potato Head, but was it really necessary to be so tactless about it? And what is it about Phil Mitchell that gets the blondes going weak at the knees? The Ronnie conundrum seemed to overshadow quite a few of the Squares' residents this week: As we just said, it lead to Jack ditching Shazza at the altar, but also threw a bit of a spanner in the works for peroxide, who didn't quite know how to tell Alfie that the woman who snatched his baby was due to come out of prison. Meanwhile, Carol finally found herself a bit of happiness, only for her young wan to throw a strop, and tell her ma she was being a "selfish caah", and demand she ditch her fella. And she wonders where Liam got it from...

Fair City: If there was one thing we could have done without this week it was the return of Paul 'Donald Trump' Brennan. The smooth operator crawled out of the woodwork when Dolores told Wayne to sell his garage shares for a pittance, or else. Hopefully someone will put him back in his box quick-sharp. Meanwhile, the Bishop kiddies argued back and forth about their mammy and daddy, while a desperate Viv struggled to get her ex out of town. Over in Chez Fahy, the Kramer versus Kramer style battle for the spawn of Satan never really took off, with Jo and Dermot managing to agree on something for once. Remind us why he's had to leave the house again? And over in Phelan's, Val's two facial expressions were pushed to the limit, as Sean demanded Sister Assumpta be fired from the shop...
