Football and Love/Hate can go do one as it seems the shows we really want to catch up on are the good old-fashioned soaps.

Yep, the kitchen sink dramas have secured the top spots on RTE Player's top ten most watched shows of 2014, with Aussie soap Home and Away coming in at number one, and our own Fair City at number two. While Love/Hate was all the way down the list at number nine.

Now we are not total egits, we do know that is because Home and Away was on way more than the World Cup and Love/Hate was, hence why they would be watched more often, but none the less, makes for interesting reading. (Ah come on, you care a little).
