We're still waiting for Jeremy Clarkson's fate and that of Top Gear, but one man's determined to get him back on the air - Snoop Dogg.

Yes, the top dog of them all, Snoop Dogg, has been voicing his opinions about the whole Clarkson debacle in a recent interview.

The rapper / actor / producer / clothing designer / marijuana legalisation activist said that he's a fan of Top Gear and Jeremy Clarkson.

"It don't matter what country I am in, I know if I stick the TV on in a hotel room then I am gonna get CNN and I am gonna get Top Gear. The reason it is syndicated all over the world is because of Jeremy and the BBC have gotta get that."

Quite.

Clarkson is currently awaiting an outcome from discussions at the Beeb which will either see him reinstated as host of Top Gear or fired from his contract.

The controversial broadcaster has been in hot water for some time over various gaffes and off-colour remarks, however the current incident involving an Irish producer was seemingly the last straw for BBC.

Snoop Dogg believes it's a tragedy. "He isn't part of Top Gear - he is Top Gear. If they even think about firing him, Britain needs to boycott the BBC until he is reinstated."

A petition to reinstate Clarkson has been handed into the BBC, after it reached over a million signatories.
