Sky Atlantic HD
today announce that dark comedies House of Lies (Season 1) and Nurse Jackie (Season 4) will premiere exclusively to Sky customers on Tuesday 2 October at 10pm and Tuesday 9 October at 10.35pm respectively.

Based on the hit tell-all book from best-selling author Martin Kihn (House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Then Tell You the Time, and that's just the title, imagine the length of the book), House of Lies stars Golden Globe winner and Oscar, BAFTA and Emmy nominee Don Cheadle (Crash, Hotel Rwanda, the dodgy accent in Ocean's 11/12/13) as Marty Kaan, a highly successful, cutthroat consultant who is never above using any means (or anyone) necessary to get his way with his clients.

Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) also stars as Jeannie Van Der Hooven, a razor-sharp, Ivy League graduate who works at Marty's firm. Marty's life is further complicated by his acerbic ex-wife Monica (Dawn Olivieri, The Vampire Diaries), psychoanalyst father Jere Miah (Emmy award winner Glynn Turman, In Treatment) and young son Roscoe (newcomer Donis Leonard Jr.)

Of her new role, Kristen Bell said: “I had an itch to do TV again (handy that)... Before they finished the 'le' in Cheadle, I said yes. I just flew by the seat of my pants."

This season, Nurse Jackie learns that both karma and sobriety can be a real bitch. In addition to finally confronting her addiction, her sardonic wit will be tested even further by an ambitious new hospital administrator played by Emmy Award winner Bobby Cannavale (Will & Grace, Third Watch) determined to run a tight ship and keep Jackie in line.

House of Lies season 1 will debut on Tuesday October 2nd at 10pm, and Nurse Jackie Season 4 will premiere on Tuesday 9 October 9th at 10.35pm.
