The System of a Down frontman nails the Lannister battle song

System of a Down and 'Game of Thrones' fans - your interests have finally intersected.

A recorded version of SOAD frontman Serj Tankian singing 'The Rains of Castamere' - the Lannister anthem that was sung at the Red Wedding - has finally been unveiled.

Although it never featured on the show, Tankian had previously guested on a live version of the song at composer Ramin Djawadi's request in 2017, but now the pristine studio version has been released. It has to be said that Tankian's voice is brilliantly suited to the eerie song, too.

So if you've watched the final episode and are feeling bereft at the outcome, stick this on repeat all day. It'll probably make you feel worse, but hey...
