Season 3 picks up a year after the close of the Rosie Larsen case, which took up much of Season 1 and 2. Linden is no longer a detective, but when ex-partner Holder's search for a runaway girl leads him to discover a gruesome string of murders that connects to one of her previous investigations, she is drawn back into the life she thought she'd left behind.
