It's really happening, Sean Spicer is actually a contestant on the US version of 'Dancing with the Stars' and we have the video evidence to prove it.

The former White House press secretary and his partner Lindsay Arnold performed a salsa to the Spice Girls hit 'Spice Up Your Life'. The pair's lively routine didn't do much to impress the judges, scoring just 12 out of 30.

Watch below, and brace yourselves.

Sean Spicer's addition to the series received a lot of backlash from viewers and those on the show, with host Tom Bergeron saying "the show should be a joyful respite from our exhaustive political climate and free of inevitably divisive bookings from any party affiliations".

Spicer was White House press secretary in 2017 and was the source of much controversy including the claim that the crowd at Trump's inauguration ceremony in Washington DC was the biggest ever for the event. (It wasn't.)

His tenure did however bring us these fantastic Melissa McCarthy's impersonations of him on Saturday Night Live. So there's that.
