This weekend, Saturday Night with Miriam will be all about nostalgia for Italia '90 as a great line-up of guests who will look back on the tournament.

25 years on from Ireland's most famous moment at the World Cup, some of the legendary players who were on the team will join Miriam to look back on the tournament.

Packie Bonner, David O’Leary & Ray Houghton will all join Miriam on the couch to reminisce about what the mood in the country was like, and what the guys experienced on their end as they played in some of the most memorable games in Irish football history, that have become part of the folklore of the nation's sporting past.

Miriam will also be joined by Minister for the Environment Alan Kelly to talk about the introduction of water charges and the death threats he and his family have faced, while Panti Bliss discusses being the face of the referendum result.

Former Miss Irelands Amanda Brunker, Pamela Flood & Sarah Morrissey will chat about beauty contests and what the win did for their careers and there will be a performance from The Voice winner Patrick James with his new single 'Redemption Days'.

Saturday Night with Miriam airs on RTÉ One Saturday 11 July at 9.45pm.
