Today is Saturday (well done us) and we hope you're enjoying your Bank Holiday weekend thus far, whether you're out and about or sitting in watching the snooker.

Now you could kick back and relax with your run-of-the-mill Saturday night telly this eve (Sure doesn't Jonathan Ross have a particularly stellar line-up?), but if you don't fancy watching the wannabes on Britain's Got Talent, seeing who fills the final slots on The Voice, finding out what happened to Roseanne, or racing to the Antarctic with a few mad explorers, then we've got an alternative suggestion.

Y'see tonight, we'll be kicking back with some TV of the cinematic variety, and there really is something for everyone in that department for once! Here are our Top Three TV Movie picks:

3. Serendipity RTE Two 9.30pm
Boy meets girl while already in relationship, girl tells boy if it's meant to be it'll be. It's got Kate Beckinsale and John Cusack, what more could you ask for?

2. Basic Instinct
UTV: 10.35pm
Michael Douglas
, murder, and more of Sharon Stone than anyone ever needed to see.

1. Star Trek
Channel 4 9.00pm
JJ Abrams' 2009 reboot split the Trekkies down the middle, but Chris Pine does a fine job trying to fill Shatner's shoes and Chris 'Thor' Hemsworth made quite the impression on the Hollywood elite with his excellent albeit brief appearance. Sure isn't the sequel out next week lads? Perfect timing.

The Best of The Rest

The Day After Tomorrow
Sky 1: 9.00pm
X Files - The Movie More4: 10.00pm
Ted Sky Premiere: 8.00pm
Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story Sky Movies Comedy: 9.45pm
My Week With Marilyn Sky Movies Drama: 6.10pm
Avengers Assemble Sky Movies Action: 9.00pm
